SCOPE: Responsible for editing post-production content that creates inspiring, on-brand videos. Will assist with a variety of processes and tasks, including but not limited to technical storytelling, project assisting, and other related projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Post-production edits on a variety of short and long-form videos.
  • Working with various Film Production projects, including technical storytelling, project pitches, and concepts via hands-on experience.
  • Shoot independently under the collaboration and direction of the Film Producer.
  • Develop, script, produce, and edit shareable motion picture content.
  • Work cross-functionally across multiple departments.
  • Execute in a fast-paced and highly fluid environment.
  • Collaborate with the Creative Director, Film Producer, Art Directors, Project Managers, and other members of the team.
  • Grow team knowledge of best-in-practice video and editing trends.
  • Assist with administrative functions within the digital film team.
  • Solicit feedback from others.
  • Assist with any assignments as required or directed.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
  • No supervision requirements.
OTHER DUTIES:
  • Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and task force groups as directed and maintain required level of knowledge pertaining to operating procedures, requirements, processes, and policies.
  • Lead and or participate in projects or task force groups that focus on issues having organization-wide impact.
  • Perform or assist with any assignments as required or directed.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This position operates in a professional office setting and regularly utilizes standard office equipment such as laptops and smartphones.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

The employee must be able to talk, hear, sit, stand, and walk regularly to perform the essential functions of this role. Occasional exertion up to 10-20 pounds of camera/film equipment.

TRAVEL:

Local travel during business hours is expected, with occasional out-of-area and overnight travel. Domestic travel is expected, up to 3 weeks per year, including but not limited to group, team, and All-Staff meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong faith in Jesus Christ as Savior;
    God-honoring lifestyle.
  • Passion for the Word of God and provision of the Word for every people group.
  • Championing Seed Company's vision, mission, and values.
  • Bachelor's degree in Film or Film Production or two years of equivalent experience.
  • Two years of editing post-production experience is recommended.
  • A strong portfolio of work demonstrating a breadth of work & arresting storytelling
  • Experience in any of the following:
    Premiere, After Effects, Resolve, Media Encoding Software, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Experience and knowledge in multiple video mediums:
    Virtual Reality (VR), Social, web, event, experiential, and broadcast are a plus
