Project Manager – Multifamily Construction
Salary:
Up to $160,000/year (base, depending on experience + benefits)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex multifamily construction projects in the Dallas market. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing budgets, schedules, contracts, and client relationships while working closely with field leadership to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
This role requires a strong background in construction project management, excellent financial acumen, and the ability to lead cross‑functional teams from preconstruction through close‑out.
Key Responsibilities- Manage construction projects from preconstruction through completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and maintain project budgets, cost reports, and forecasts.
- Prepare and manage project schedules, coordinating closely with the Superintendent and subcontractors.
- Oversee contract administration, including subcontracts, change orders, and buyouts.
- Lead project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and internal teams.
- Track and manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Collaborate with estimating and preconstruction teams on project handoff and cost control.
- Support project close‑out, including punch lists, turnover documentation, and final billing.
- 7–10+ years of construction project management experience.
- Proven experience managing commercial, multifamily, or mixed‑use construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction financials, including cost tracking, forecasting, and change management.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Experience coordinating with Superintendents, subcontractors, and consultants.
- Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore) and standard office tools.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience managing projects in the Dallas–Fort Worth market.
- Background with large‑scale multifamily, podium, or commercial developments.
