US Tax Return And Payroll Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tax Return and Payroll Return Expert with expertise in Quick Books Online (QBO) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and preparing US tax returns, handling payroll returns, and maintaining accurate financial records using QBO. This role requires a strong understanding of US tax laws, payroll processes, and proficiency in using QBO for financial management.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and file US federal, state, and local tax returns, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Manage payroll processing and prepare accurate and timely payroll returns.
- Maintain and update financial records using Quick Books Online (QBO).
- Perform general bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions and reconciling accounts.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and ensure accuracy.
- Stay updated with changes in US tax laws and payroll regulations.
- Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of financial information.
- Provide training and support to team members on QBO usage and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in preparing US tax returns and payroll returns.
- Proficiency in Quick Books Online (QBO) and other accounting software.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws, payroll processes, and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, Enrolled Agent) is a plus.
- Experience with other financial software and tools.
- Knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting.
- Familiarity with industry-specific accounting practices and regulations.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
