Project Accountant

Overview

Brock Solutions is seeking a Project Accountant to join our team of professionals located at our head office in Irving, TX. Brock Solutions is an innovative engineering solutions and professional services company specializing in the design, build and implementation of real-time operational solutions for industrial/manufacturing and transportation/logistics organizations worldwide. We are an employee-owned organization with over 30 years in the real-time operational solutions space.

Compensation range: $45k-$65k

• Perform project accounting function including opening (closing) projects within the accounting system
• Work with Project Managers to prepare timely and accurate customer billings and supporting documentation
• Engage in WIP process including activities such as project forecast, WIP reconciliation, project cost transfers, change order updates, and adjustments
• Assist in collection of receivables
• Work with transactions involving multi-currency and tax considerations
• Assist in responding to external audit requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Math, Economics, or college equivalent
• Extensive experience populating and analyzing financial and project data using Excel
• Experience with using AI to optimize tasks is an asset
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics NAV software would be beneficial but is not required
• Experience in a professional services business would be beneficial but is not required
