Base Pay Range
$80,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr

The Senior Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager.
Primary Responsibilities- Own and maintain assigned areas of the general ledger, including monthly close activities, account reconciliations, variance analysis, and the preparation of supporting schedules.
- Develop, refine, and implement scalable processes and tools that improve the speed, accuracy, and consistency of accounting workflows, including automation or system enhancements where appropriate.
- Evaluate and determine proper accounting treatment for complex or unusual transactions, using relevant U.S. GAAP guidance, company policy, and the underlying business purpose to ensure accurate and compliant reporting.
- Prepare and review journal entries, financial analyses, and internal reporting, ensuring completeness, accuracy, and alignment with cross-functional inputs (FP&A, operations, tax, etc.).
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business activities and proactively identify accounting implications, providing clear explanations, documentation, and recommendations to support decision‑making and audit readiness.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 4‑6 years of experience in GL accounting, preferably in professional services or law firm environment.
- High proficiency with accounting and finance tools and concepts, including ERP and reporting systems, and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and ability to challenge assumptions constructively.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to present complex data in a clear, concise manner.
