As a Biomedical Services Specialist at DaVita, you’ll be trained to repair and regularly service our dialysis machines. You will become part of a team that values work-life balance and where your personal and professional growth is a top priority.

This will mainly cover our North Chesterfield, VA area (on-call pay, mileage reimbursement and additional travel pay if outside your designated area offered).

DaVita has an open position for a Biomedical Services Specialist who helps keep our life-giving dialysis treatments up and running every day in our clinics. If you enjoy repairing engines or other types of machines, thrive in a demanding environment, and want to contribute to a collaborative team, you could play a vital role as one of DaVita's clinic guardians.

• Repair and service dialysis machines to keep treatments running smoothly.
• Travel to clinics within the assigned area; participate in on-call rotations as needed.
• Work with DaVita tools and systems; follow safety and quality standards.

• Mechanical abilities, repairs, strong electronics knowledge and diagnostics (preferred); prior experience in this type of work or demonstrated aptitude. Training and certification will be provided for the right candidate.
• Great communication skills; ability to work openly, honestly and frequently with teammates.
• Tech-savvy with troubleshooting skills; solid computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and internet navigation.
• Available for on-call rotations; ability to meet clinic needs outside standard hours.
• High School Diploma (GED) – Accredited high school diploma or GED required at onboarding.
• A valid driver’s license – Must drive to clinics; valid license in the applying state, valid auto insurance and acceptable driving record.
• Close proximity to clinics and hospitals in the area to provide adequate emergency response coverage.
