Educational Counselor - Temporary Teaching Assistant

Job Description :

Pay Range: $20hr - $25hr

Responsibilities:

• Support teachers in implementing the curriculum.
• Assist teachers, clinicians, and administration in maintaining a safe and supportive environment.
• Provide academic support, accommodations, and modifications as needed.
• Assist students during transitions throughout the building.
• Provide coverage during staff absences.
• Supervise students in various school locations, including during arrival and dismissal.
• Provide social-emotional support in classrooms and the overall milieu.
• With supervision, design and implement activities or classes when needed.
• Complete student-related documentation.
• Prepare and maintain classrooms and milieu daily.
• Proctor testing sessions and provide accommodations as required.
• Model appropriate social cues and body language; provide social-pragmatic support.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

• Bachelor s degree required; degree in Education preferred.

• Experience working XX or adolescents preferred (0 1 year).

• Flexibility and willingness to learn.
