WE ARE OFFERING A POTENTIAL $15,000 SIGN-ON BONUS FOR A CDJR MASTER CERTIFIED TECHNICIAN.
The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Journeyman Technician. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast‑paced industry located at Arlington Heights CDJR. The Journeyman Technician is responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards, building customer loyalty through effective vehicle diagnosis and repair.

- Diagnose and repair to specifications—brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
- Adequately explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals (employees and customers).
- Continuously update technical skills and techniques in formal training sessions to keep abreast of rapidly changing automotive technology.
- Keep store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur.
- Maintain an organized and neat service bay.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience as a Journeyman Technician.
- Ideal candidate is a self‑starter who is process‑driven.
- Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations.
- 18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policy.
