Senior Project Manager - Data Center Construction

Job Description

A nationally recognized leader in the industrial/commercial construction industry is seeking a Senior Project Manager with Data Center experience to support large-scale, mission-critical projects. This role will oversee projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful delivery of complex data center builds.

The ideal candidate has a strong track record of managing budgets, schedules, client relationships, and internal teams on high-value projects. This individual thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong leadership, and takes pride in delivering high-quality, technically complex projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all phases of project management from preconstruction through turnover
• Partner closely with superintendents and field leadership to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
• Develop, maintain, and manage project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
• Review and interpret contracts, drawings, and technical specifications
• Oversee procurement, buyout, and change management processes
• Provide clear communication, reporting, and documentation to internal and external stakeholders
• Mentor and support Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and Project Engineers

Basic Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in a Project Manager or Senior Project Manager role within commercial or industrial construction
• Proven experience managing projects valued at $30M+
• Data center or mission-critical construction experience required
• Strong understanding of project financials, scheduling, and construction means and methods
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work on-site/local projects with no travel requirement

Preferred Skills/

Experience:

• Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, or similar project management/scheduling software
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
