Mental Health Counselor, Private Practice

Join our wonderful Lighthouse Emotional Wellness Center team! Our outpatient counseling private practice is seeking a motivated Mental Health Counselor. This position requires the candidate to be a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

They have worked in the field for over 25 years. They found many gaps in traditional couples therapy and devised a unique approach to working with couples and families. We believe that a counselor can only help clients grow if they are growing themselves.

• An Admin team who answers phone calls and schedules initial client appointments so you can focus on seeing clients!

Active, unrestricted State of Illinois license as an LPC, LCPC, LCSW or LMFT.

• Prior private practice experience
• Interest in doing couples counseling
• Training in EMDR
• Weekend availability, as there is a high demand for Saturdays

Only applicants that qualify for an interview will be contacted. This is a Contractor position. Pay: $50 - $65 base rate per session depending on licensure and experience. As a Contractor, the person in this position will be compensated for each session hour had with a client.

There are two shifts for each day and together, we can find a schedule that works well for you!

Here is a potential schedule for this position:

• Monday: 12:30pm - 9pm
• Tuesday: 5pm- 9pm
• Thursday: 12:30pm - 9pm
• Friday: 9am - 5:30pm
• Saturday: 9am - 1:00pm
