Position OverviewMajestic Care ABA is seeking a Clinical Psychologist or Nurse Practitioner to join our growing team. In this role, you will conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for children and adolescents to assess for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental or behavioral conditions. Your expertise will directly support families by helping them access the services and resources they need.
Responsibilities- Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations for autism and related disorders using standardized tools (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R, cognitive and developmental assessments).
- Administer, score, and interpret testing results to inform diagnostic impressions and recommendations.
- Prepare comprehensive written evaluation reports and communicate results to families with sensitivity and clarity.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members (BCBAs, RBTs, speech therapists, occupational therapists, etc.) to support coordinated care.
- Provide guidance to families regarding next steps, including treatment recommendations and community resources.
- Maintain compliance with ethical and professional standards of practice, as well as all state, federal, and organizational requirements.
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.
D.) in Clinical Psychology, School Psychology, or a related field. - Current state licensure (or eligibility for licensure) as a psychologist or nurse practitioner.
- Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.
- Familiarity with commonly used diagnostic tools (e.g., ADOS-2, ADI-R).
- Strong communication, organizational, and report‑writing skills.
- Compassionate and family‑centered approach to care.
- Prior experience working in an ABA or multidisciplinary clinical setting.
- Bilingual skills (Spanish/English) a plus.
