Middle School Special Education Teaching Assistant

Arlington Heights School District 25 has an opening for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Special Education Teaching Assistant at South Middle School.
The hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 7:35 am – 2:50 pm.
Pay: $22.00 / hour Teaching Assistants provide support to our students with significant special education needs.
Special Education Instructional Teachers will provide guidance to ensure that you are implementing the Individualized Education Plans for students throughout their school day during integration into general education classes, special education instructional classes, hallway transitions, lunch, recess and activities of daily living (e.g. toileting, eating, dressing, grooming). • Must have a valid Illinois ELS (PARA) Paraprofessional License, SUB license, or PEL
• Have a genuine interest in students
• Ablility to effectively communicate with children and adults
