Automotive Journeyman Technician (Maintenance)
Arlington Heights Buick GMC is looking for an experienced Journeyman Automotive Technician and ASE certification to join our award-winning team. Competitive pay and benefits. Local 701 Union. EOE.
Job Responsibilities- Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and General Motors standards.
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, HVAC, and infotainment systems.
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.
- Provide an estimate of labor and time needed for additional automotive repairs.
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications.
- Continuously learn new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions to stay up to date with rapidly changing technology.
