Job Description
The Accounting Intern will assist the Accounting Department with a variety of administrative and accounting-related tasks, including reviewing and vouchering accounts payable invoices. The Intern will develop an understanding of finance and accounting responsibilities. Essential functions include:
- Reviewing and vouchering invoices.
- Sorting and distributing Finance Department Mail.
- Assisting with daily bank deposit.
- Assisting, preparing and scanning invoices and supporting payment processing.
- Working with accounting staff on various projects.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Rate of Pay$21/hr

Working ConditionsThis position is based in an office setting with standard office equipment. The typical work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm. However, the business needs of Pace may result in work schedules outside the typical hours/workdays.
This position is not eligible for hybrid or remote telecommuting.
QualificationsAge: Must be 18 years of age or older.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be currently enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year accredited college or university and working toward a degree in Business, Accounting, or other related field.
Licenses/Certifications: Must possess a valid driver's license.
Proficiencies: Must demonstrate working knowledge and proficiency of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods of time, frequently stand and/or walk within an office environment, lift and carry up to 25lbs, use a keyboard and type for prolonged periods.
