Over the Road Class A CDL Driver
- Safety Sensitive Position
OK Foods is currently seeking an experienced Over the Road CDL Driver with an excellent driving record. The right candidate will hold a Class A CDL and at least 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer driving experience. Our drivers enjoy generous compensation, positive work environment and excellent benefits. An OK Foods Over the Road CDL Driver is the link between our company and our customers.

Summary:
This job consists of driving in a nationwide transportation system delivering refrigerated loads to customers. Communicates with dispatch to provide efficient services to our customers.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and meet qualification standards satisfactorily.
- Safe operation of all company equipment
- Manage timely delivery at destination and place trailer in customer’s desired location
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date daily paperwork (BOL, Receipts, Mileage, Etc.)
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and operational capacity
- Adhere to company and departmental policies
- Ensure loads are properly secured
- Perform pre/post trip inspections of all equipment
- Report equipment and payload problems/hazards
- Have proper knowledge of Electronic Log Device (ELD)
- Turn in all required paperwork for payroll
- Report all moving violations and accidents as required
- Maintain good communication with dispatch at all times
- Follow and comply with all DOT regulations and company policies
- Maintain assigned vehicle
- Ensure all permits, licenses, registration and credit cards are in truck
- Other duties may be assigned as needed
Must have a Class-A CDL Driver’s License. Must have no major moving violations and be able to pass a DOT physical, DOT drug test, and have a satisfactory FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse record.
QualificationsRequirements & Qualifications

- Must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) that is applicable for the type of commercial equipment being operated
- Must match/or exceed physical standards of the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administrations (FMCSA)
- Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record from all states where prior licenses where held
- Must be at least 21 years of age (DOT requirement for interstate operation)
- Must satisfactory pass all required drug tests, background and FMCSA Clearinghouse checks & inquiries
- Must pass OK Foods road test & understand there will be a Dashcam in the vehicle
- Must speak and read English well enough to read road signs and converse with officials (Per DOT Requirements).
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
