Local Driver

Elevate Textiles, a leading manufacturer and marketing of advanced textiles, is looking for a CDL Driver to join the company's internal trucking fleet. This position would cover local, day routes between manufacturing facilities and local suppliers.

• Operate a/trailer combination vehicle over public highways to pickup and deliver freight as directed by dispatch. Obey all federal and state laws in the operation of a commercial vehicle.
• Maintain a valid commercial driver’s license with hazardous materials endorsement and a current, valid DOT medical examiner’s certificate that allows operation of a commercial vehicle.
• Maintain required records including vehicle inspection log and driver log book, observing all laws and regulations governing hours of service (HOS) for commercial drivers. Ensure all freight documents accompany the freight shipment and are signed and submitted as required.
• Monitor and redistribute freight load as necessary to ensure compliance with federal and state weight‑per‑axle regulations.
• Adhere to all regulations and requirements set forth by the company and department to ensure the safe operation of a tractor/trailer combination vehicle.

Qualified candidates will have at least 2 years of over‑the‑road or local experience, a safe driving record, and a desire to be part of a professional team.
