Products include milling and turning machines, profile and bar machining, 5‑axis, and double‑spindle machining centers. Turnkey solutions for CNC machining tasks are available, with engineering, fixture and tooling design, automation, local spare parts, local service, process development, test cuts, and application engineering services.
We are looking for a dynamic Regional Sales General Manager located in the Detroit, MI area.
- Develop sales strategies and tactical plans to achieve revenue and market share goals across assigned territories.
- Drive territory development through close collaboration with Regional Sales Managers (RSMs) and regular customer engagement.
- Provide consistent reporting on key account activities, market trends, competitive insights, and win/loss analysis.
- Prepare and deliver impactful sales and product presentations, ensuring consistent use of materials across all regions.
- Identify and qualify business opportunities and maintain a structured pipeline of prospects.
- Support RSMs in customer meetings, product updates, and overall sales execution; manage own key customer accounts.
- Collaborate with Proposal Engineers to prepare accurate quotes, costings, and value calculations.
- Create sales contracts and deal sheets in line with company guidelines and maintain all quote and activity records.
- Assist in resolving customer satisfaction or quality issues to keep RSMs focused on selling.
- Plan and manage an efficient weekly sales itinerary and ensure RSMs do the same across all territories.
- Must have 5+ years of experience in the machine tool industry.
- Must have held a Leadership role in the area of sales for a minimum of 5 years.
- 50-80% travel is anticipated.
