Regional Sales Manager - Pulp & Paper
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products and services within a designated region, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.
ABB Pulp & Paper Account Managers are pivotal in driving the success of our Solutions and Service sales strategies within the designated Sales Territory. This role focuses on targeted Paper Accounts, requiring a dynamic, enthusiastic, and proven leader capable of operating at both strategic and tactical levels.
The work model for the role is:
Remote
This role is contributing to the Pulp & Paper Division in North America.
Responsibilities- Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB’s offering and strategy.
- Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicating value proposition to customers.
- Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
- Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supports cash collection and project management activities, when needed.

Qualifications for the role- Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of eight (8) years of technical sales and/or account management work experience
- Equivalent extensive technical work experience in the Paper or similar Industry preferred
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within the Pulp & Paper or related industries
- Demonstrated ability to drive sales activities at both strategic and tactical levels
- Strong value-based and ROI-based selling skills
- Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills
- Ability to effectively present to various levels within customer organizations
- Familiarity with ABB’s product portfolio and competitive landscape is a plus
- Demonstrated leadership and strong presentation skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
