About AJATCAJATC is a secure residential program for at‑risk male and female youth, located on 110 acres just outside of Little Rock, AR. Through our trained programming for staff, AJATC promotes a normalized high school experience, offers a safe environment and provides opportunities for positive change, as well as providing the unlimited potential for achievement and growth for students and staff. Our campus features residential student dormitories, on‑site school and library, vocational training program, chapel, gymnasium, medical and an outdoor recreation area.

Pay
: $25 per hour; can increase with level of education and experience

ResponsibilitiesWhat you will do: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) works as a key member of the AJATC medical team and provides general health care for students within the scope of your license. This may include administering immunizations, assisting with TB screening, flu vaccines, and overall health maintenance of students and staff. As an LPN, you will also assist with training employees regarding relevant health care topics such as prevention of sports injuries, blood borne pathogens, CPR, First Aid, and behavioral disorders.
This position assists in ordering supplies, pharmaceuticals, and other medical equipment for the Medical team.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current Arkansas LPN licensure (required).
- At least 21 years of age.
- Pass a criminal background check, drug, physical and TB test.
- Pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.
- Meet the requirements to become an ROP eligible driver, including a valid Driver’s License.
12‑hour shifts; 3/2 – 2/3 schedule (work every other weekend)
