Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room | Days (4x10s)

Requirements:

• Active RN license

• BLS

• ACLS

• PALS

• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience

• Experience in Ortho, Plastics, and OB/GYN required

Scope of Role:

The Operating Room RN demonstrates critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning patient care in the OR. This role functions as a key member of the surgical team, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other personnel. Responsibilities include ensuring adequate supplies, supporting timely case progression, communicating with families, maintaining physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgical procedures, and supervising assigned personnel.

Care is provided in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, regulatory guidelines, physician orders, and hospital policies.
