Overview
The CFAC is dedicated to supporting children and families who have experienced abuse, neglect, and domestic violence. Our comprehensive programs include advocacy, counseling, and a residential program for women and children. We are committed to making a positive impact through our services, and we rely on grants and funding to support our mission.
Responsibilities- Grant Management
:
Oversee the entire grant lifecycle, from researching funding opportunities to writing proposals and managing awarded grants. Ensure all grants are in compliance with organizational and funder requirements. - Proposal Writing
:
Develop and write compelling grant proposals and applications, including narrative content, budgets, and supporting documentation. Tailor proposals to align with the priorities and guidelines of potential funders. - Reporting & Compliance
:
Monitor and track grant expenditures and ensure adherence to funding guidelines. Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports to funders, including progress updates and financial statements. - Research & Outreach
:
Identify potential grant opportunities and funding sources that align with the organization s mission and strategic goals. Build and maintain relationships with current and potential funders. - Documentation & Record-Keeping
:
Maintain comprehensive records of grant applications, awards, and correspondence. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and accessible for audits and evaluations. - Collaboration
:
Work closely with program staff to gather data and information required for grant proposals and reports. Provide support and training to staff on grant-related matters. - Strategic Planning
:
Contribute to the organization s strategic planning by identifying funding needs and opportunities. Assist in developing long-term funding strategies and goals.
- Bachelor s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in grant management is a plus.
- Proven experience in grant writing, management, and reporting, preferably in a nonprofit or advocacy setting.
- Strong understanding of grant processes, funding guidelines, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with the ability to craft persuasive proposals and reports.
- Proficiency in budget preparation and financial management related to grants.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Experience with grant management software and database systems is a plus.
