Manager Regional DC

Clean Harbors in El Dorado, KS is looking for a Regional Distribution Center (DC) Manager to join their safety conscious team! As a Regional DC Manager, you will provide management and oversight of Distribution Centers contained within designated region(s). Profit and loss /financial management of all DCs in area(s) of coverage. Oversees the management of DC facilities, employees, inventory, shipping, loading, logistics, satisfying customer orders.

• Work with branch managers, area managers and corporate logistics to meet all required branch needs.
• Maintain budgetary compliance, take corrective action to ensure cost control and reduction where possible.
• Manage monitor direct reports for compliance with all operating guidelines and company policies. Train and enforce as required.
• Work with DC operations team, purchasing and corporate inventory management to ensure adequate and accurate inventories of all materials.
• Manage inventory accuracy and counts, using systems and handheld devices, cycle count and bi-annual inventory procedures. Maintain records and complete system transactions for all inventory movements.
• Lead DC company reorganization project. Includes elimination of DC to DC transactions, Commitment to FAM structure and working with purchasing for regionalized purchasing opportunity

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors?

• Bachelor's Degree - preferably in Supply Chain / Inventory Management/Related
• Alternative combinations of education and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree. 5-7 years
• General computer proficiency / Office applications (excel/database management)
• Employee management and leadership skills
• Supply chain management experience
• Financial review experience
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
