General Labor, Field/Service Technician
Oversees the collection of work in progress and completed work through GPS data collected from each job site, making sure work is compliant with installation and safety standards. Manages the process with a focus on safety, compliance, efficiency, cost management, and innovation.
Essential Functions- Utilizes sensor-based data collection equipment to increase data integrity
- Standardizes collection of data for the company and reporting
- Collects GPS data and records the barcode for equipment used in projects
- Manages daily work in progress and previous WIP activities
- Completes and submits required reports and project data daily
- Plans and efficiently executes projects without direct oversight
- Coordinates activities with field Foreman and Supervisors
- Assists with project tasks as required
- Adheres to and enforces safety standards
- Works regularly in all-weather elements
- Maintains a clean driving record
- Wears a lot of walking outdoors
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. Related technical education or experience is a plus.
Knowledge or experience using GIS and mapping software, such as Lemur or Locus View programs. Proficient in creating reports using MS Excel. Highly proficient in working with a diverse team of individuals in a field environment. A clean driving record is required to fulfill this position’s daily expectations.
