OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST – PT LMH & LHNC at St. Bernards Healthcare (Walnut Ridge, AR)

• The Occupational Therapist treats patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities through therapeutic use of everyday activities. They help patients develop, recover, and improve skills needed for daily living and working.

• Assess patients' functional status and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic intervention and educate patients on adaptive equipment and functional changes.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessment, intervention, and progress notes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and refer patients for ancillary services.

• Licensed in the State of Arkansas to practice Occupational Therapy.
• CPR certified.
• Sound clinical skills and demonstrated good judgment.
• Ability to problem-solve and plan effectively.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.

• Requires physical strength to perform essential functions of the job.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds, push/pull up to 250 pounds, and carry up to 35 pounds.
• Frequent sitting, stooping, standing, walking, bending, pushing/pulling.
• Ability to work required schedule.
