Volks Resources is urgently hiring a skilled RAN Field Integration Engineer to support large-scale 4G LTE and 5G Ericsson deployment projects across multiple U.S. markets. This role is essential in ensuring high-quality site integrations, backhaul validation, and end-to-end testing for new and upgraded wireless sites.

As a RAN Field Integration Engineer, you will perform hands-on field work involving BBU installation, site integration, troubleshooting, and validation testing. You will work across several states supporting Ericsson 4G/5G technologies, ensuring rapid issue resolution and high network performance. The role requires deep technical knowledge, agility in field environments, and the ability to carry out automated and manual integrations with accuracy.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless network launches and ensure compliance with performance and safety standards.
- Install and integrate Ericsson BBUs (5216/6630/6648/6651/6610).
- Perform auto-integrations using ESI (Ericsson Site Integrator) with ECI scripts.
- Conduct manual integrations using CV restore and SIF files.
- Execute SRS automated call testing, including E911 and NEA validation.
- Troubleshoot backhaul transport and fiber loss issues efficiently.
- Verify frequency bands, carrier configurations, and 4G/5G site parameters.
- Validate site performance and ensure successful on‑air readiness.
- Extensive hands‑on experience with Ericsson 4G LTE and 5G RAN technologies.
- Deep understanding of RF band frequencies and site parameters.
- Strong proficiency in backhaul transport and fiber troubleshooting.
- Field experience with BBU hardware integrations and scripts.
- Ability to perform automated and manual call testing procedures.
- Strong problem‑solving and rapid diagnostic skills.
- Prior experience with SRS and other automated test tools.
- Familiarity with MW/backhaul vendors and fiber OTDR testing.
- Experience working across multi‑state deployment projects.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to work independently in fast‑paced field environments.
