The Certified Test Technician will perform acceptance tests to government specifications on automated and manual test equipment. Analyze/test system level assemblies. Aid test engineers in test instruction creation and failure troubleshooting. Aid metrology in test equipment maintenance and calibration. Work occasionally extended hours or off hours, as needed. Perform normal job requirements of a production assembly technician.
- Perform acceptance test to government specifications on automated and manual test equipment.
- Operate, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on rotating and stationary equipment.
- Assist in the diagnoses of missile and section level test failures for disposition and/or rejection.
- Assist in the maintenance and calibration of manual and automated test systems.
- Assist in the writing and implementation of new procedures as required.
- Provide testing guidance to new technicians.
- Assist Engineering in design changes and upgrading of automated and manual test systems.
- Ensure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Enter technical information into computer tracking system for the purpose of record keeping and preventative maintenance; uses a computerized maintenance management system.
- Maintain all required certifications to perform job assignments, which includes maintaining assembly certifications.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of four (4) years of relevant experience.
- Experience working in manufacturing or operations.

- Associate Degree or at least 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
