You will join our structural department. As our new Project Engineer, you will be part of our energetic and driven group of structural engineers and architects. This is a position for a person who has passed the FE exam and plans to pursue Professional Engineering licensure within two years. The Project Engineer utilizes highly developed verbal and written communication skills to maintain a close relationship with project team members and clients from proposal through construction phase.
KeyTasks and Responsibilities
- Completing assignments requiring a knowledge of engineering fundamentals and the application of these fundamentals to the production of engineering deliverables
- Executing a variety of engineering tasks including preparation of reports, investigatory studies, engineering design calculations and preparation of Contract Documents
- Maintaining routine communications with the project team members during proposal, design and construction phases of a project
- Reviewing schedules and budgets of projects under their supervision
- Preparing proposals and conducting efforts supporting business development activities
- Performing detailed checking of completed work performed under their direct supervision
- Visiting job sites to review work in progress, gain field experience, and advance practical engineering skills
- Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience; or
- Master’s Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
- Proficiency with Finite Element Analysis software (Required)
- Experience with Autodesk Revit (Preferred)
- Successfully passed the FE exam (Required) with intent to pursue Professional Engineering Licensure within two years
- Gains knowledge through participation in technical societies and attendance at internal and external training programs
The U.S. pay range for this position is $90,000 – $115,000 annually and does not include bonuses, overtime or other forms of compensation or benefits. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
