Barton School District is seeking a certified Elementary Special Education Teacher with Take Flight training for the upcoming school year. This position will provide special education services and deliver structured dyslexia intervention using the Take Flight curriculum.

• Providing instruction and support to students with disabilities in accordance with IEPs
• Delivering Take Flight lessons with fidelity to identified students
• Monitoring and documenting student progress
• Collaborating with classroom teachers, administrators, and parents
• Ensuring compliance with state and federal special education and dyslexia requirements

• Candidates must hold a valid Arkansas Special Education teaching license
• Take Flight certification or willingness to obtain certification is preferred
• Bachelor degree preferred
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required

• 0 to 5 Years: $50,000
• 6 to 10 Years: $52,500
• 11 to 15 Years: $55,000
• 16 to 20 Years: $57,500
• 21 or More Years: $60,000
• Masters Degree: $1,500 stipend
• Masters Degree plus 30: $2,500 stipend
