Summary of
Job Duties:
Conducts practical, community‑based educational programs to empower individuals, families, and communities in nutrition, family well‑being, health reversing, food safety, and economic self‑sufficiency. Works with a broad audience base and local volunteers to solicit support and participation within the county.
- Develop and deliver extension programs that meet community needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners.
- Assist community members in developing skills and knowledge in nutrition, health, food safety, and financial management.
- Collect and analyze feedback médicament to improve program effectiveness.
- Educationahrenheit: Bachelor’s degree in Family & Consumer Sciences or a related field.

Must possess reliable transportation for job duties and maintain liability insurance. - Must be willing to undergo a background check including the Arkansas Child Abuse & Neglect Central Registry.
- Knowledge in one or more family & consumer sciences subject areas relevant to the county assignments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work long, irregular hours and travel frequently.
- Demonstrated commitment to respecting diversity and inclusion across all client interactions.
- Proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
This position is temporary and fully field‑based. It may require travel across the county and on occasion to other parts of Arkansas.
