Internal Medicine Physician

Join a dedicated team helping our nation's Veterans! We are seeking General Medicine Providers to perform Compensation & Pension exams as well as Separation Health Assessments in Houston, Arkansas. This role is essential to ensuring quality healthcare for those who have served. The practice offers flexibility, with opportunities to work from your own office, depending on your location and preferences.

• Conduct one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments.
• Perform primarily interview-based examinations complemented by limited physical assessments such as range of motion and muscle strength testing.
• Complete necessary documentation, including reports and addendums, throughout the assessment process.
• Work on a PRN basis, offering both half-day (4-hour) and full-day (8-hour) options.
• Ensure compliance with all protocols related to Veterans' care.

• Board Certified in a relevant medical specialty, with a focus on general medicine, family medicine, or internal medicine.
• Proficient in METS testing and capable of evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions.
• Must have an active and unrestricted medical license in Arkansas.
• Ability to complete DMA training to obtain DMA certification is required.
• Own a laptop (compatible with program specifications, no Mac/Apple products).

• Active and unrestricted medical license in Arkansas.
• Certification with AANP (American Association of Nurse Practitioners).
