As a Principal Platform Engineer, you will be part of the engineering team at Service Titan to help improve our data products and build new ones. What You'll Do

• Assess and recommend architecture frameworks, design and implement high-performance solutions for data and analytics products.
• Architect high availability, scalable, and fault-tolerant solutions.
• Lead implementation of modern data curation solutions to enable quick onboarding of new data sources and enhance existing data integrations.
• Partner with teams to develop tools for extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources.
• Evaluate and implement efficient distributed storage and query techniques.
• Champion high-quality code with comprehensive test coverage.
• Participate in code reviews and design discussions.
• Design automation tools for monitoring and measuring data quality, including user interfaces.

What You'll Bring

• 10+ years of experience in Software or Data Engineering in high-traffic, fault-tolerant, highly available environments.
• Experience in system architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
• Experience in building real-time data pipelines.
• Proficiency with Spark, Python, DBT, C#, SQL.
• Experience with Big Data Technologies (Snowflake, Athena, Pinot, Clickhouse, Flink, etc.).
• Experience with streaming platforms like Kafka or Kinesis.
• Knowledge of Generative AI technologies for data engineering (Cursor, Copilot, etc.).
• B.S., M.S., or PhD in Computer Science or related field.

Salary range for US residents: $221,400 - $296,100 USD, with total compensation including bonus, equity, and benefits. Compensation outside the US varies by location.
