Field/Service Technician, Installation Technician
Location: Litchfield Park
Contract Duration: 4+ Months (Potential Extension)
Location: Litchfield Park, AZ
Schedule: Day Shift | Monday-Saturday | 60-72 hours/week

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician I for a 4+ month contract assignment supporting large-scale industrial and data center automation projects in Litchfield Park, AZ. This role will support instrumentation installation, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning activities while working closely with engineers and commissioning teams.
Key Responsibilities- Perform instrumentation and automation services including installation, calibration, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning
- Review and interpret drawings, schematics, and BIM models
- Install low-voltage wiring within existing conduits and cable trays
- Perform basic terminations to installed field devices and control equipment
- Assist in troubleshooting instrumentation functionality and I/O operations
- Repair and calibrate instrumentation using appropriate meters and tools
- Set up new instrumentation and calibrate to specifications using drawings and schematics
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on test apparatus and peripheral equipment
- Support installation and maintenance activities for large-scale industrial automation systems
- Utilize computerized testing equipment and software to perform tests and generate reports
- Collaborate with engineers during PLC system testing and commissioning
- Safely operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs)
- Shift: Day Shift
- Typical schedules: 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 5:30 AM - 4:00 PM (based on data center assignment)
- Hours:
- Monday-Saturday
- Up to 12 hours/day (normally 10 hours)
- Saturday overtime required (typically half day)
- Expected weekly hours:
60-72
- Minimum 6 years of low-voltage construction experience
- Minimum 1 year as an I&C or Controls Technician
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Prior data center experience strongly preferred
- OSHA 10 certification highly recommended
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
