Overview

Holbrook Travel Center (One9) – 1851 State Highway 77, Holbrook, AZ 86025. Holbrook Travel Center (One9) is looking for a Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will use cash registers, electronic scanners, and other related equipment to conduct monetary transactions with customers. Tasks also include cleaning, stocking and preparing food. The ideal candidate is dependable, reliable and prompt, with excellent customer service skills, top-notch accuracy, and strong work ethic.

• Customer service – Greet customers as they enter the location and answer questions as needed. Assist customers with locating various products and resolving complaints as they arise.
• Cash handling – Accept money in the form of cash, checks, and credit or debit cards for items purchased. Ensure accurate transactions by balancing the cash register at the beginning and end of the shift. Accept and process all returns or exchanges according to store policy.
• Stocking – Stock product on the shelf, fill beverages in the cold vault, coffee bar, tobacco, liquor and other items.
• Preparing Food – Staff will be cross-trained in preparing and cooking food, and may be scheduled to cook Krispy Krunchy Chicken and other hot deli food items.

• High school diploma required (or equivalent)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to operate available equipment, such as cash registers, calculators, or scanners
• Necessary mathematical skills, as needed to make the change and give refunds
• Knowledgeable about the company s products and services and customer-related policies
• Must be reliable, prompt and able to show up to work on time
• A Food Handlers Permit will be provided for each employee
