• Join our dynamic Med‑Surg Unit, where you’ll provide top‑notch care to adult geriatrics and pediatric patients.
• Experience EXCELLENT staffing ratios:
  • Non‑Covid: typically 4:1, max 5:1
  • Covid patients: typically 2:1, max 3:1
• Required
  
  Certifications:
  • American Heart Association BLS
  • ACLS
  • PALS
• Experience:
  • 3 years of med‑surg experience
  • 1 year pediatric experience
  • Must be comfortable with both adult and pediatric patients
• Setting:
  • 20‑bed medical surgical unit for adults and pediatrics
• Shift:
  • 12‑hour night shifts
  • Typical schedule:
    
    36 hours one week, 48 hours the next, plus up to 1 on‑call shift/week
  • Must be flexible with days, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Responsibilities:
  • Assist with Flu Immunization clinics as needed
  • Attend staff meetings to stay connected with the team
  • Float to other departments when qualified, with duties including patient load management or task‑oriented activities
  • Orientation:
    • Scheduled on Mondays only.
    • Compliance deadline must be met to avoid rescheduling to the next orientation.
