Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pre-Op/PACU position requiring AZ or compact RN licensure and strong operating room circulator experience.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital setting covering Pre-Op, Operating Room circulation, and PACU
- Eight-hour shifts, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with a 30-minute break
- On-call required approximately one overnight per week and one weekend every five weeks
- Assignment length is 13 weeks
- Occasional floating to other departments required if qualified
- Travelers may take patient loads or perform task-oriented duties in floated departments, depending on experience
- Orientation occurs only on Mondays; compliance deadline must be met for timely start
- No COVID-19 vaccination is required for this position
- Active AZ or compact RN license
- Minimum two years of recent relevant experience in Pre-Op, PACU, or OR circulation
- Current AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Experience as an OR circulator is required
