We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Emergency Room Department Manager to lead our dedicated ER team in Bisbee, Arizona. This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated nursing professional with strong clinical and leadership skills to make a meaningful impact on emergency care delivery in our community.
Oversee and coordinate all operations within the Emergency Room Department
Lead, mentor, and support clinical staff to ensure high-quality, compassionate, and efficient care
Collaborate with physicians, emergency response personnel, and hospital leadership
Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and regulatory requirements
Maintain and improve departmental performance, including patient outcomes and satisfaction
Actively contribute to emergency management planning and preparedness
QualificationsGraduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN or specialty nursing certification preferred
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Arizona
2–5 years of recent clinical experience in Emergency Room nursing
Proven leadership experience in an ER setting with positive multidisciplinary collaboration
Demonstrated competence in managing emergency patients across the age spectrum
Current certification in ACLS and CPR; PALS certification required (or obtained within 6 months of hire)
Actively pursuing or holding CEN certification and/or advanced trauma training
Physical and emotional resilience required to work in high-stress, crisis-driven environments
Strong judgment, initiative, communication skills, and emotional stability
