- Provide direct patient care in a Med/Surg environment during night shifts.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
- Engage in continuous learning to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures at all times.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities.
- Assist in achieving departmental targets and performance metrics.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families during challenging times.
- Current RN license in the state of practice.
- Willingness to work night shifts consistently.
- Experience in a Med/Surg setting preferred.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
- Strong communication skills for patient and team interactions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols.
- Ability to document patient care accurately and timely.
- Strong emotional intelligence to support patients and families.
- Experience with quality improvement initiatives in healthcare.
