Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations within a chemical production environment. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent output while providing hands-on team leadership across production teams.

The ideal candidate will bring both technical understanding and a proven ability to develop teams, drive accountability, and strengthen operational execution on the production floor.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily production operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and consistent manufacturing output
• Manage, coach, and develop production teams while setting clear expectations and driving accountability
• Proactively address performance, safety, and operational issues
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards within a chemical manufacturing environment
• Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
• Collaborate with plant and operations leadership to improve processes, productivity, and team effectiveness
• Serve as a visible, hands-on leader on the production floor supporting supervisors and frontline employees
• Help stabilize, standardize, and strengthen production workflows, communication, and team performance

Required Background & Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience in manufacturing, chemical production, or industrial processing environments
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and holding teams accountable
• Experience overseeing daily production operations, schedules, and output
• Working knowledge of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards
• Ability to operate as an engaged, floor-level leader while maintaining operational oversight
• Continuous improvement mindset with experience driving consistency and performance
