Business Manager

A senior management position requiring supervisory responsibility, working closely with the General Manager, and the ability to step in directly as needed, providing overall leadership and oversight of the Authority’s financial, administrative, property and lease management functions, performing day-to-day financial operations to ensure continuity of operations. As a small organization, this role requires flexibility and readiness to engage across multiple functional areas.

• Provide oversight of financial operations
• Manage property and lease administration
• Oversee cash management, banking activities, and investment-related transactions
• Perform monthly account reconciliations
• Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and analyses
• Administer company insurance policies, certificates of insurance, and compliance tracking
• Provide management-level HR support, including onboarding and policy development
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals; review and audit financial reports
• Assist with Board meetings; provide administrative and logistical support

• Bachelor’s degree required; accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
• Ten (10) or more years of progressively responsible management experience in accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, property or asset management, or fiscal administration
• Supervisory experience required
• Strong working knowledge of common business software and systems
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with insurance policies, certificates of insurance, and risk management, preferred
• Quick Books Desktop experience essential
