Peraton is looking for an Intermediate Cyber Threat Analyst to protect our organization by proactively identifying, analyzing, and assessing potential security threats and vulnerabilities within a Department of Defense (DoD) operational environment.

• Identifying and analyzing potential threats to the DOWIN, providing actionable recommendations for mitigation, and analyzing cyber threat reports to enhance internal defenses.
• Gathering intelligence from diverse sources, including OSINT, to maintain awareness of emerging adversary Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).
• Conducting comprehensive risk assessments and collaborating with internal teams to integrate threat analysis into response strategies.
• Using the MITRE ATT&CK framework to map adversary behavior and develop effective defensive countermeasures.

• Experience:
  
  2 years with BS/BA in Cyber Security or related field; 0 years with MS/MA in Cyber Security or related field; 6 years experience with no degree.
• Certifications:
  
  Must meet DoD 8140 Qualifications for Cyber Defense Incident Responder - Intermediate.
• Active Top Secret Clearance, must be able to obtain a TS/SCI.

Target Salary Range: $86,000 – $138,000. This range reflects typical compensation for this position. Salary is determined by factors such as scope and responsibilities of the role, the candidate’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business needs. Eligible employees may receive overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
