The OpportunityThis is a hands‑on leadership role driving data strategy for our rapidly growing organization across Data Science, Analytics, and Data Engineering. You will build the data infrastructure that our clinical, product, and business teams rely on to make decisions that impact real patient outcomes, establish scalable data practices, and prepare our platform for outcomes‑based care.
LocationHybrid (NYC). We value in‑person collaboration and aim for at least three days per week in our NYC office, with flexibility as needed.
Your Impact- Build the data infrastructure we’ll rely on for the next five years. Design and implement our data warehouse, establish ETL/ELT pipelines, and create an architecture that turns messy healthcare data into reliable insights.
- Create unified visibility across the patient journey by stitching together data from clinical systems, product analytics, and marketing/growth tools to build end‑to‑end views of patient flows.
- Own analytics that drive clinical and business outcomes
—partner directly with clinical ops, product, and leadership to answer critical questions about interventions, bottlenecks, and prioritization. - Prepare for outcomes‑based care by structuring and instrumenting data collection for care plans, clinical workflows, and patient outcomes, building models that demonstrate clinical efficacy and support value‑based care contracts.
- Enable rigorous experimentation and product optimization
—design and analyze A/B tests, set up experimentation infrastructure, and apply statistical rigor to insights. - Establish the discipline by setting standards for data quality, documentation, and governance, and creating a culture where decisions are grounded in evidence.
- Scale yourself and document your work, build tools that empower others, and lay the foundation for your future team.
- Built data systems from scratch

—design and analyze A/B tests, power calculations, confidence intervals, and significance testing. - Connected the full funnel
—reasoned across acquisition, product engagement, and downstream outcomes; handled identity resolution and attribution. - Translate ambiguity into action
—probe stakeholder requests to uncover core questions and deliver actionable insights. - Care about healthcare
—understanding of HIPAA, clinical outcomes, and the importance of data quality in patient care. - Communicate insights, not just numbers
—translate technical concepts to non‑technical audiences; build dashboards that tell stories. - Own your work
—responsible, autonomous, and capable of shipping incrementally. - Pragmatic about scope
—optimize for impact, decide when to build custom vs. buy off‑the‑shelf.
- Experience implementing experimentation platforms such as Amplitude Experiment, Optimizely, or Launch Darkly.
- Background with clinical data standards (HL7, FHIR) or outcomes research.
- Experience in consumer health, digital health, or health tech environments.
