ABOUT OUR ROLEThe Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and overall appearance of our guest rooms and public areas. You will lead a team of housekeeping staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization, ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks will be essential in this role.
You will report directly to the Rooms Manager and work closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS- Supervise and train housekeeping staff to ensure high standards of cleanliness and organization are maintained.
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet our standards of cleanliness and presentation.
- Manage inventory and ordering of housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met and exceeded.
- Maintain a safe and secure work environment for all staff.
- Responsible for staff compliance with company-approved MPOR (minutes per occupied room).
- Responsible for keeping departmental OT to a minimum.
- Perform Room Attendant duties as required by business needs.
- 2+ years of experience in housekeeping or related field.
- 1+ years of supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a hotel or resort setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
- Ability to speak multiple languages.
- Professionalism, integrity, and the ability to follow instructions with thorough follow-up.
- Ability to understand and convey both oral and written communications clearly.
- Strong attention to detail, sound reasoning, and effective multitasking/prioritization skills.
- Must be able to remain upright and able to continuously move on a firm surface for an 8-10-hour shift.
- Must be able to move at least 20 pounds up to 5 feet high without another person's aid.
- Must be able to ascend to 12 feet in height on a ladder.
- Must be able to position oneself appropriately to efficiently make beds, carry trash, vacuum, sweep, dust and be able to assist guests with luggage and set up event rooms.
