Dietitian / Nutritionist, Health Promotion
4 days a week / day shift Dietitian, preferably a licensed professional with at least 3 years of experience. Tribal experience required. 12 points per day minimum.

Looking for a registered dietitian with experience at a critical access hospital, with CDCES preferred. Duties may include inpatient unit, outpatient clinics, food service evaluation, and menu development. The inpatient unit serves general patients with minimal nutrition support. Outpatient clinics include medical weight loss, diabetes management, and other MNT consults as ordered by physicians.

Part-time or full-time, Mid/Evening - As needed

Non-negotiables include required certifications: BLS. CDCES preferred.

Ideal Personality Traits:
Willing to take on new tasks, experience with food service and outpatient clinical nutrition, flexible.
Minimum 2 years recent experience planning diets in healthcare; 3 years preferred. Experience in clinical nutrition focusing on chronic diseases, nutrition education across the lifespan, and providing MNT.
Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from an accredited college or university, with a completed Didactic Program in Dietetics (ACEND accredited). Current registration with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Responsibilities include providing MNT to inpatients and outpatients, performing assessments, creating care plans, counseling, education, and administering therapies. Serve as a nutrition expert for complex high-risk patients, provide education to staff and the community, modify patient profiles, participate in interdisciplinary care conferences, perform quality assurance, and prepare reports for accreditation.
Other duties as assigned.
