We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Personal Banker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will gather deposits, provide exceptional customer service, partner with other bankers to provide financial solutions, and work independently and within a team. This role may also be cross‑trained as a Sales Assistant to support our Mortgage and Commercial lenders.

• Perform all activities related to the opening or closing of various types of time and demand deposit accounts, including certificates of deposits, NOW accounts, regular checking accounts, and savings products.
• Ensure applicable regulations, disclosures, policies, and procedures are followed and stay trained on depository compliance regulations.
• Cross‑sell bank services to maximize customer relationships based on customer need and aligned with the bank’s core values.
• Perform periodic follow‑up with customers for additional services and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Proactively call on new and existing customers outside of bank, make business connections through community organizations and volunteer commitments, actively promote bank and ask clients for referrals.
• Accept credit applications for consumer loans and complete basic underwriting and loan decisions.

• Proven experience in the banking or financial services environment.
• Demonstrated ability to be consultative and recommend products and services based on a need.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a diverse team.
• Flexibility to travel to other locations to meet with customers and team members.

Salary: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
