POSITION PURPOSE
Responsible for identifying and managing potential business risks to the mine site operation, as well as developing equipment maintenance strategies for the Pinto Valley Mine. This reliability professional also plays a key role in leading diverse defect elimination and improvement programs by identifying, scoping, managing and monitoring plans to completion by using innovative and effective engineering approaches. This position works closely with the maintenance, operations, supply chain and assets & engineering teams at Pinto Valley as well as with suppliers, contractors and consultants to monitor performance, reduce risk and improve asset reliability.

- Suppliers and service providers as necessary for equipment technical support or improvement projects as necessary

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Balance of field (30%) and office work (70%). Field work is performed in different areas, equipment and plants at the Pinto Valley Mine Site
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
As an employee of the Capstone Copper Assets & Engineering Department your key responsibilities are aligned with the Capstone Copper Asset Management Framework (AMF) Elements. You will be required to develop a clear understanding of the Capstone Copper AMF Standards relevant to your role and ensure they are applied within your area of responsibility.

- Develop, review and maintain the equipment criticality assessment in Pinto Valley ERP
- Lead development and deployment of equipment maintenance strategies through analysis workshops with cross functional teams to optimize maintenance plans, increase equipment reliability and support a strong work identification process
- Analyze performance and optimize equipment maintenance strategies

- Identify, assess and value the impact of threats that will prevent maintenance and operations departments from meeting business objectives
- Validate and rank business threats by using The Capstone Copper Risk Matrix, risk analysis methodologies and approaches
- Lead and prioritize development of mitigation plans to reduce business risks
- Monitor and report actions compliance to mitigate business risks
