Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an experienced Elementary Special Education Teacher to support middle school students in a resource position. This travel role is based in Litchfield Park, AZ, providing a dynamic environment to utilize your skills in special education and make a meaningful impact on students' academic and social development.
Responsibilities- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the needs of middle school students with diverse learning challenges
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state guidelines
- Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment to encourage student participation and growth
- Valid Arizona Special Education Teacher license
- Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Proven experience working with middle school students in a special education setting
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues

40 hours per week - Contract Dates: ASAP through May 22, 2026
