Provides academic instruction aligned to Arizona state standards. All teaching positions require Arizona Teacher Certification and highly qualified status for the content area pursuant to federal requirements. Up to ten (10) years credit may be given for previous teaching experience for initial placement on Certified Salary Placement Schedule; up to fifteen (15) years credit may be given for previous teaching experience for initial placement on Certified Salary Placement Schedule for certain positions including math, science, English and special education.
