Position Summary

Dateland School, a small rural public school in the Hyder School District, is seeking a full-time Elementary

Teacher for a combined Grades 1 & 2 classroom for the  school year. This position is ideal for

educators who value small class sizes, close community relationships, and the rewards of rural teaching.

Key Responsibilities

* Teach a combined Grades 1 & 2 classroom aligned with Arizona Academic Standards

* Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs

* Create a positive, structured, and supportive classroom environment

* Assess student progress and communicate regularly with families

* Collaborate with staff and participate in professional development and school activities

Qualifications

* Valid Arizona Elementary Education Teaching Certificate (or ability to obtain)

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution

* Ability to manage a multi-grade classroom

* Strong communication and classroom management skills
