ANTICIPATED RATE OF PAY: $22.72 - $24.82 hourly, dependent upon qualifications, plus a comprehensive benefits package to include membership in the Arizona State Retirement System.
All court positions require a comprehensive background check and fingerprinting.
This position is grant funded, with continued employment dependent upon grant funding.
NATURE OF WORKUnder general supervision, the Training and Education Coordinator is responsible for supporting the development, coordination, and delivery of training programs and educational activities. This includes developing training materials, assisting in the planning and implementation of training initiatives, coordinating logistical arrangements, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth functioning of training activities. The Coordinator promotes continuous learning, skill development, and organizational effectiveness.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Researches, coordinates, and develops materials for training staff on procedures, rules, regulations, forms, requirements, and equipment. Assists Court Administrator or designee in identifying training needs. Collects, compiles, prepares, updates, and assembles training and presentation materials and manuals. Designs new training materials and updates existing ones. Conducts initial training/orientation for newly hired staff. Delivers training through lectures, demonstrations, exercises, and COJET conferences.
Maintains the Limited Jurisdiction Bond Book. Conducts continuing education to comply with changes in regulations, and resolves performance deficiencies. Monitors changes in statutes, rules, best practices, and incorporates them into trainings. Compiles monthly case statistical data and prepares reports. Develops and evaluates student surveys/assessments. Coordinates and maintains training/education materials, audio‑visual equipment, laptops, tablets, and supplies. Maintains documentation on training conducted and records of training activities, including attendance and evaluations.
Coordinates with the Judicial County Training Coordinator to compile certificates and enter them into the database and Human Resources files. Provides additional training as needed. An Associate’s degree in education, business, public administration, government, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution and two (2) years of progressively responsible experience in a court setting or professional training. Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver’s License and be covered by county insurance.

Work is primarily performed under general supervision. Incumbent generally performs work in a typical office setting with appropriate climate controls.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSEssential functions include lifting manual objects up to 20 pounds; frequent lifting of objects up to 10 pounds; good walking, standing, sitting, pushing, pulling. Mental application: utilizes memory for details and verbal instructions, requires emotional stability, critical thinking, adaptability, and creative problem‑solving skills.
