Responsibilities
  • Create a classroom environment that cultivates learning, engages student interests, and enables them to perform at their very best.
  • Utilize direct instruction techniques to guide students through activities designed to promote their social, physical, and intellectual growth needed for primary‑school success.
  • Explore individual needs and give side‑by‑side support to discover how each student learns best, developing personalized solutions aligned to their learning style and abilities.
  • Master the proven curriculum and implement the school’s philosophy of education, guiding the learning process toward achievement of curriculum goals.
  • Evaluate each student’s learning capabilities and celebrate their accomplishments.
  • Encourage students to uphold our values and model mature behavior and good character in the classroom, on the school campus, and throughout their lives.
Qualifications
  • Holding a bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • A current K‑12 Special Education Mild/Moderate OR Special Education Moderate/Severe teaching certificate in the state where the position is located.
  • Creating positive, powerful energy that fuels our school spirit—filling campuses with exceptional students and diverse talent, modeling our values, inspiring others, and having fun while solving matters with composure, integrity, and compassion.
  • Being active in the role with lifting, sitting, standing, moving throughout the campus, and traveling to other campuses as required.
  • Complying with state‑required background checks, including but not limited to state and national criminal history checks.
